What would a Sylt wine bar be without a fireplace and an extensive selection of the finest drinks? When you walk through the dunes after a long walk on the beach, come back refreshed and exhausted and sink into a soft armchair. This is exactly the feeling we want to offer you in our cozy bar with its warming fireplace and in our stylish Port Room – places to linger, enjoy, read and relax. You can look forward to an exciting à la carte program with daily changing recommendations that complement our culinary variety in the restaurant.

A considerable selection of the classic sweet wine from Portugal is an important part of the range in our Wine bar on Sylt. Port wines are not only suitable as a digestif, but also for an enjoyable drink in between. If you want to enjoy wine on Sylt, there is no getting around Bärbel Ring and her in-depth knowledge of wine. As a trained sommelier and absolute connoisseur with a love for this special world, she provides the Söl’ring Hof with this excellent expertise, which picks up wine connoisseurs as well as newcomers who want to find out more. Don’t be shy, every wine has been personally discovered, tasted and purchased for you. Ask at any time – there is a lot of information to learn.
From top-class German Rieslings to rich red wines from Bordeaux, special Chardonnays from Burgundy to the finest champagnes, our menu with over 1000 items has everything to offer that a wine lover’s heart desires, as well as the beginner. In addition, there are over 150 different vintages of the best port wines and Madeiras in the world. In our wine bar on Sylt, you can enjoy these liquid treasures just a few meters from the Wadden Sea, without any stiff ceremonial, but as relaxed and easy-going as we are here on the island.

We also offer regular culinary events where you can taste first-class wines and rarities in the Sylt bar near the sea can get to know. This makes wine tasting in the Port Room an unforgettable experience.
