While people from all over the world travel to Japan during the cherry blossom season, few people are aware of the impressive natural spectacle that unfolds on Sylt at the end of May and beginning of June: the magnificent blossom of the Rosa Rugosa, the Sylt rose.
In lush bushes, it shines in delicate white and vibrant pink-red along the dunes and in the island’s gardens. Their sweet scent fills the air and announces the start of the Sylt summer in an unmistakable way – a colorful, unique spectacle.
To kick off the Rose Days, we invite you to a special evening in our living room. We welcome you with a glass of our own rose champagne as an aperitif and serve you a 3-course rose menu in a stylish atmosphere, in which the Sylt rose is integrated into the individual courses in a subtle and surprising way. Subtle rose decorations make the rose dinner an enjoyable start to your time on the dune.

Discover the culinary diversity of the Sylt dog rose in our rose cooking course – delicate, aromatic and surprisingly versatile. We dedicate a whole day to the popular scent of the island and show you how the delicate rose aroma can be harmoniously integrated into savory and sweet dishes.
Experience a special taste sensation that inspires the senses and celebrates the fine balance of flavors.
The cooking course concludes with a 4-course menu including corresponding wines and soft drinks in the living room.

To round off the Rose Days, a special breakfast in the style of the Söl’ring Hof awaits you on the last morning – with selected products and fine details relating to the Sylt dog rose.
